P Kevin Gehin, DC
P Kevin Gehin, DC is the Owner and Director of CoreMedical Alliance and Wyoming Valley Spine & Nerve Institute located in Pittston, Pennsylvania. He earned his Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2002. Upon graduation he owned and operated several clinics in the Indianapolis, IN area as well as provided treatment for families in the Amish communities throughout northern Indiana.
Understanding the need for specialized homeopathic care in Northeastern Pennsylvania, he sold his clinics and relocated to Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gehin and his team of specialists believe in an integrated approach to helping patients achieve their wellness goals and enhance their quality of life by treating the actual condition rather than the symptoms while utilizing state of the art technology. With this philosophy in mind, Dr. Gehin is proud to offer care options such as regenerative medicine, decompression, sexual health treatments for men and women, hair restoration, facial rejuvenation, vampire face lift, breast lift, and more. Dr. Gehin’s patients appreciate the way he educates patients one-on-one to truly understand their condition and the treatment options available to them so they can live their very best life.
Dr. Gehin resides in Northeast Pennsylvania with his wife and three children. He enjoys traveling often, amateur radio, and spending time with his family and friends across the county.

Jose Derr - DO
Jose Derr is Board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also holds a Master of Science in Physiology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology from the Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Derr has over 35 years of experience as a family practice physician in outpatient and hospital settings. He is highly motivated and is a dedicated provider of quality primary health care. He has demonstrated abilities with skilled nursing care and rehabilitative medicine. Dr. Derr retired from active practice after 36 years but continues to enjoy practicing part time.
Dr. Derr is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association, is a board-certified member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, a member of the Alumni Association of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, is a Diplomat of the National Board of Examiners, and is American Heart Association certified in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support.
Dr. Derr and his wife Sherri (CRNP) have three adult children residing from Florida to Boston and also have 2 grandchildren he enjoys spending time with. In his extra time, he loves to golf, travel, and stays current in medicine through journals and conferences.
Erika Dominick - CRNP
Erika Dominick is a Board-Certified Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in health care by volunteering at York Hospital in Pennsylvania when she was just fourteen years old. Since that time, she has logged sixteen years of experience in various areas of patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
She has experience in a wide range of areas including home health, wound care, intensive care, pediatrics, elderly care, emergency room, and OB/GYN. Erika is specially certified in wound care, phlebotomy, advanced injection, platelet-rich-plasma (PRP), and extra corporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT).
In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Erika has an outstanding academic background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Program at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
For many years, Erika observed how many health care professionals often resort to surgery and/or pain medication for patients with degenerative diseases, injuries, and acute or chronic pain. She is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life while avoiding surgery and pain medication.
In Erika’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young sons, and their dog, hiking, fishing, playing sports, and spending as much time outside as possible.
Erika’s combination of clinical education, experience, and love for exercise provide a strong foundation for the kind of holistic approach to patients that Erika feels is critical to exceptional patient care and optimal body functioning.

Marissa Voda - Medical Assistant
Marissa Voda, Medical Assistant, has been with Core Medical since 2014 working part time and summers while carrying a full time school schedule. She is currently a Junior in the Nursing Program at Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA. Upon receiving her nursing degree she plans to pursue a Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
Marissa loves working with our awesome patients and watching them get out of pain and back to better health. She wants each patient to have the very best experience during their time in our care. Marissa is able to provide support throughout the clinic from working the front desk to providing assistance to the attending physician during treatments.
Marissa loves being outdoors, traveling, hunting, watching drag races, spending time with family and friends and her two cats, Tank and Archie.

Sandy Gehin - Office Manager
Sandy Gehin, Office Manager, has managed medical clinics with Dr. Gehin for more than 12 years. Having worked as a Human Resources Manager in manufacturing, logistics/supply chain, and health care, Sandy has a passion to help people reach their goals, resolve challenges, and enhance their quality of life.
Sandy’s 25 plus years of combined Human Resources and Supervisory experience have given her a unique perspective which she brings to our growing team of professional providers and staff members. Together we share a genuine philosophy to serve our patients as individuals, to treat our patients like family and to offer the highest quality of health care services and products available.
Sandy is a native of Pennsylvania. She earned her Master’s degree of Human Resources Management from the University of Scranton and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources Administration and an Associates’ degree in Psychology from King’s College of Wilkes-Barre.
Sandy resides in rural Pennsylvania with her loving husband and three kids who are currently full-time, college students majoring in Wildlife Management, Pre Med and Biochemistry. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

Shania McDermott - Lead Medical Assistant
Shania, Lead Medical Assistant, loves assisting patients from initial scheduling to following up on their progress as patients receive treatment and start gaining their quality of life back. Shania has a diverse background in the medical field. She is currently a full-time student with UMA as she is receiving medical background in billing and coding.
Shania enjoys working closely with patient’s, building genuine connections with them means a lot to her. Shania spends her time off studying as well as time with her little boy and husband.

Makayla Voda - Medical Assistant
Makayla Voda, Medical Assistant, has been with Core Medical since 2017. She works part time and summers while going to school full time. Makayla is currently a freshman at the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. She is majoring in Biochemistry, Cell, Molecular Biology and Criminology. Makayla plans to pursue a medical career in dermatology.
Makayla loves assisting patients from initial scheduling to following up on their progress as patients receive treatment and start gaining their quality of life back.
Makayla is an avid painter and participates in the Wyalusing Community Theater. She loves to travel, read, bake and spend time with family and friends as well as her two cats, Tigger and Simba.

Tatum Maslousky - Medical Assistant
Tatum, Medical Assistant, works at ProHealth Medical while carrying a full-time school schedule. She is currently pursuing a career in the medical field as she is attending Luzerne County Community College. Tatum loves working with our awesome patients and watching them get out of pain and back to better health.
She wants each patient to have the very best experience during their time in our care. Tatum is able to provide support throughout the clinic from working the front desk to providing assistance to the attending physician during treatments.
Tatum enjoys spending her time off doing outdoor activities with her friends and family.
